Our fourteen year old Aussie mix came along, of course. He's such a sweet dog, and so much fun to have along. His name is Aslan, after Aslan in the Narnia Chronicles.
Sometimes I call him Azzie, but my husband usually just calls him Harry Dog.
Azzie looked so handsome and so happy (going to the beach is his favorite thing) that we decided to do a little photo shoot.
Did I mention he's a bit of a ham? We think he's a photogenic fellow, as well.
Cute dog. He does look like a ham with his big grin.

He is a special dog! And I completely agree, photogenic. I have the privilege of taking care of Teddy for C right now. He's been here a lot over the last 11 years, so even though he's mostly deaf and mostly blind at the wise old age of 91 (I'll do the math for you, 13 in human years) he does well. It's made us realize how much we need a dog of our own.
